Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
RealtyShooters (realtyshooters.com) is a directory of US real estate photographers operated by Byzantine Glam, LLC, a PropKitCo company (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Photographer accounts. When you create an account we collect your email address and a password (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider). We use them to sign you in, confirm your email, and send password-reset links.
- Directory listings. Listings are built from publicly available business information (such as business name, city, phone, website, ratings, and review counts from public map listings). If you claim or edit a listing, we also store what you enter: business and contact name, phone, email, website and social links, services, description, and any logo or photos you upload. Listing details and uploaded images are shown publicly on your profile, except your email address, which is never displayed.
- Listing claims. When you claim a listing we record your account, the listing, and any note you add. We compare your account email with the listing’s contact details to approve the claim, or review it by hand.
- Studio applications. The Add your studio form collects your business name, contact name, email, phone, website, location, services, and notes. We store the application and email it to our team so we can review the business before adding it.
- Photo editor listings. The Get listed as a photo editor form collects your business and contact name, contact email, website, location, services, turnaround, price band, description, and the logo and before/after images you upload. We review it by hand before publishing. Everything except your email address is shown publicly once the listing is approved.
- Messages to photographers. When you contact a photographer we collect your name, email, optional phone number, your message, and the page you sent it from. The message is stored by us and emailed to our team, who forward it to the photographer. Your reply-to address is your own email, so the photographer can respond to you directly. Messages to a photo editor are emailed straight to that editor, with a copy to our team.
- Featured payments. Featured listings ($39/month) are billed by Stripe. You enter card details on Stripe’s checkout page; we never see or store your card number. We keep your Stripe customer reference and subscription status so we can show your listing as Featured.
- Usage information. Like most websites, our hosting provider and the analytics and advertising tools described below receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referring page. We use your IP address briefly in memory to limit spam on the contact form.
- Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA). Contact forms use reCAPTCHA v3, which sends Google information about your browser and how you use the page to tell people from bots. Its use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
How we use information
- To run the directory, let photographers manage their listings, and show search results.
- To deliver your messages to the photographers you contact.
- To review studio applications and listing claims.
- To process Featured subscriptions and keep billing status in sync.
- To understand how the site is used, measure our ads, and improve the service.
- To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.
Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are used. It sets cookies and receives page addresses, browser and device information, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We do not send Google your name, email address, or phone number. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services; you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel)
We use the Meta Pixel to measure the results of our ads on Facebook and Instagram and to show our ads to people who have visited. It records the pages you visit and these actions: creating an account, starting a Featured checkout, a Featured subscription starting, contacting a photographer, and submitting a studio application — together with browser and device information and Meta cookies.
We never send Meta your name, email address, phone number, or the text of your messages. The pixel does not run on password-reset pages or while a sign-in link or token is in the page address. Meta’s use of this data is described in Meta’s Privacy Policy.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our sign-in system stores your session in your browser so you stay signed in. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel set their own cookies as described above. During a Featured checkout we briefly keep a listing reference in your browser’s session storage so we can confirm the subscription when you return. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; signing in requires browser storage to work.
Your choices
- Advertising choices. You can turn off ad personalization in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, or block cookies in your browser. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the Meta Pixel does not load at all.
- California residents. Using the Meta Pixel for advertising counts as “sharing” personal information under California law. We do not sell your information. To opt out of sharing, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or email hello@propkitco.com.
- Access, correction, and deletion. Photographers can edit their listing at any time from the dashboard. To get a copy of your information, have it corrected or deleted, close your account, or remove a listing about your business, email hello@propkitco.com from the address on your account or listing.
Service providers
We share information only with the providers that run the service for us:
- Supabase — database, file storage, and sign-in.
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Stripe — payment processing for Featured listings.
- Resend — delivery of contact messages and application emails.
- Google (Google Analytics) — site analytics.
- Google (reCAPTCHA) — spam protection on contact forms.
- Meta (Meta Pixel) — advertising measurement.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
Data retention
We keep account and listing information while your account or listing is active. Contact messages, applications, and claims are kept so we can handle follow-ups and prevent abuse. When you ask us to delete your information, we delete or anonymize it except where we must keep records (for example, payment records) to meet legal obligations.
Security
Our database is not accessible from the browser; all reads and writes go through our servers. Photographer email addresses are never shown on the site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
RealtyShooters is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we will provide notice on the site.
